See-Saw: Finding Connection and Creativity in Uncertain Times, Nov 2021

The See-Saw Project, created in collaboration with Sandbox Collective and supported by Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore, came at a time when the world felt uncertain and disconnected. It wasn’t just an artistic exchange—it became a way to process everything happening around me, to experiment, and to push my work in new directions.

Over 10 weeks, I worked alongside 11 Bangalore-based artists and 3 facilitators, all of us exploring identity, prejudice, and the assumptions we carry. The process was both challenging and freeing. It encouraged me to take risks, step outside my usual mediums, and approach art with more adventure. At a time when isolation felt overwhelming, See-Saw created space for collaboration, reflection, and creative growth.

Working with Sandbox Collective, Goethe-Institut, and a diverse group of artists reminded me why art matters—especially in difficult times. It gave me new ways to see, to create, and to connect.
